$31k for a pretty well equiped SUV isn't terrible I guess. Need to see it in person though.

They were filming Renegades in San Diego on Saturday for a commercial, using a sweet Cayenne camera car:

I feel like that's a lot of money for so little car. It bothers me the Cherokee starts at 24K apparently in Quebec.

I hate how much more most cars cost in Canada compared to the US.

Want that Cayenne, the Renegade looks bigger than I thought it would.
Also, Fuck off Lahey!

It's ridiculous sometimes. We have many cars that start well under 20k in the States, jump up to mid 20s here in Canada. It makes it unattractive to buy a car.

Seems like there's a bit of overlap between the Renegade and the Cherokee, and the Wrangler for that manner.
I think the sweet spot for the Renegade is going to be on the lower end of the option spectrum.

I would likely not get the Trailhawk and just the Sport. Only option I really want is 4x4 and maybe the nicer rims.

I just checked it out and the pricing is INSANE on this thing. For a completely base model sport with 4x4 manual it is $27,790* where the exact same car in 2x4 is $21,670*. $6120 more for 4x4 on the base model whereas it's only a $2000 option on every other trim level. There is some serious price gouging going on there.
For only $1,995 you can get a Cherokee Sport 4x4 V6. Hell for only $400 more you can get a 4x4 Cherokee 4cyl.
*pricing including destination charge

Has anyone sat in one of these yet? I am curious as to how spacious it will feel?
